can i get some help with dyes~ - Guild Wars Forums

ok i was wondering if someone out there has a female ranger with proficies 15k druids armor dyed a royal blue. i have tried almost everything i can think of,a dn spent a crap load of money. any and all help would be apreciated. i tries searching and found squat. anyone?

So....you've tried mixing some dyes in the dye interface? Perhaps the base color of the armor is not conducive to that shade of blue? Also what you consider Royal may be subject to personal taste, perhaps some color sample would help.

yes, ive tried almsot 80k worth of dye combos lol. the kind of blue im lookin for is a deep shade of blue. kinda like this.

Sorry I don't have any advice for you, but I hope you only bought all that dye and didn't actually apply it. The preview should show you accurately what it will look like.

The difficulty is in each armor being unique in composition (metal, cloth, wood, etc) and thus colors apply to them differently. Straight blue on my elementalist is somewhat like you are showing.

Also if somebody does have a color combo make sure it is from after the dye update as that same mix may no longer apply.

#1 Check out the sub forum in the Screenshots section. You can make requests for help there.

#2 Are you aware that there is a Dye Mixing window now, so you don't have to waste dyes anymore? Bring that up and experiment to your hearts content - and only USE the dyes when you are happy with the results.

yes i know about the window, i didint use them, i ended up selling them all back to the dye trader, so thats not a prob. thnx for the help so far i guess. ill try to ss forum if i get nothing here.

i tried normal blue on my druids armor and it looked like your sample...otherwhise try blue+silver+black...looked kinda nice too in my opinion
